Mary "Chris" Monasmith, went home peacefully on March 23, 2010 with her family and friends around her. She was born October 31, 1958 in Tucson, AZ to her proud parents, Leonard and Audrey Zimmerman. She was an original Tucson native raised in the Our Mother of Sorrows parish where she received first communion, education, and the joining of her life with her loving husband, Steve "Doc". She committed her time and love to the Knights of Columbus and their many charitable contributions and the leading of the K-Cettes. The only woman president of the Tucson Street Rod Association, she was the first to volunteer, especially in anything for children. Her love and commitment to her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and strangers alike will be missed desperately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory to TMC Hospice Endowment.
